The Augusta Classic was a scorcher with a high of 95 degrees.  Melody and i have been privelaged this year not facing very many days over ninety, so it seemed really hot to us this weekend.  Besides the heat, i had a great time.  The South course looks much better and the north had some new pins to check out.  We stayed with Scotty O and he caddied me to my tenth win of the season.  This is the first year i have won 10 or more events. I had ablast playing with McCoy, Orrick, junebug, and young Will this weekend.  Man that kid can rip!

Before and after the tournament Melody and i stayed with Kevin McCoy and Courtney Peavy in Senoia, Georgia.  We checked out there sweet new coffee shop and enjoyed good food and expresso drinks.  They have a 13 month old boy Ryan, he is all smiles and loves mini golf.  We also played nine holes of ball golf with them, i had one par (5), while kevin shot the best, 49.  We had a great time and look foward to getting back to visit them again soon, and talk them into coming to the Beaver State Fling next year.  Time to gear up for US Doubles Championships and the USDGC, i am feeling good and can not wait to play Winthop Gold.  Doubles should be sick with Avery and I representing Oregon.
