General Structure:

All Oregon Series tournaments are two-day PDGA sanctioned events of at least “C-tier” level. All courses will be free of unreasonable dangerous conditions. Players will have the opportunity to register before the tournament either online, by phone, or email. All tournament specific financial information will be made available upon request. Separate individuals run each tournament, so each tournament will have a different feel while maintaining the high level of quality the series strives for.

Series Points:

The Oregon Series keeps “Series Points” for all players. These points are used to award prizes at the end of the year. Each player is awarded one point for each tournament he/she enters. Additionally, points are earned for the player's finishing place. With first place receiving 100 points, 2 nd place receiving 99, and so on from there. 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd places are to be played off in the event of a tie. All other places split prizes in case of a tie and are awarded the same number of series Points. At the end of the year, your Series Points will consist of the number of events you played plus the points you earned from your best 4 finishes in your division. The player with the largest number of Series points in a given division wins that division (a player can only qualify in one division).

Series Final:

The Oregon Series final awards ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the final tournament of the year. Any player completing 4 of 7 tournaments will qualify for the end of year prizes in their division. The qualifying, top 50% point earners in each division will be awarded prizes and the top 3 players in each division will receive trophies. Player who completes all 7 tournaments will receive an additional award. Last year this award was a custom embroidered fleece hooded sweatshirt. The year before was custom embroidered vests. So you don't have to win your division to have a great year.

General Division Guide lines: Pro:

• Player packages are optional(TD's discretion)
• Trophies for top 3 Places
• Top 37.5-40% will receive cash pay-out
• Prize base = Entry fee + cash or prizes added – trophies – PDGA fee $2,$3, $4, $5 (depending on tier) – Oregon Series fee $3 – misc. expenses (extra trophies and / or players packages , park fees, etc.)
• Pro Open in open to anyone, no restriction apply
• Pro Women and Pro Master division do have gender and age restrictions (40+ to play Masters)
• Pros with a player rating less than 955 may choose to play Advanced Amateur. They will receive prizes (NOT CASH) based on their finishing position and receive no PDGA points.

Advanced Amateur:

• All players receive a players package
• Trophies for top 3 places
• Top 50% will receive pay-out in prizes. Prizes will be in the form of script redeemable at any Oregon Series tournament. Occasionally, some prizes may be merchandise; this will vary from tournament to tournament and only with the approval of the coordinators.
• Prize base = Entry fee + cash or prizes added – trophies – PDGA fee $2,$3,$4 (depending on tier) – Oregon Series fee $3 – misc. expenses(extra trophies and/or player packages, park fees, etc.)
• Advanced Amateur is open to all Amateur players without regard to player rating.
• Pro players may play Advanced Amateur if their player rating is 955 or less. They will receive prizes (NOT CASH) based on their finishing position and receive no PDGA points.
• Advanced Women and Advanced Masters division do have gender and age restriction (40+ to play master)

Intermediate Amateur:

• All players receive a players package
• Trophies for top 3 places
• Top 50% will receive pay-out in prizes. Prizes will be in the form of script redeemable at any Oregon Series tournament. Occasionally, some prizes may be merchandise; this will vary from tournament to tournament and only with the approval of the coordinators.

• Intermediate amateur is a restricted division, only open to players with a player rating of 915 or less.
