Hall Of Fame Classic

A few weeks ago Steve Brinster and i drove to Augusta for the opening of the International Disc Golf Center.  The drive down was stressful because we were trasnporting the art piece that Steve was commissioned to do for the IDGC.  The sculpture is made out of rock and steel, stands about 4ft tall and weighs approx. 250lbs.  I'll let him describe more details about it, but all i can say is that it looks AMAZING.  You walk in the IDGC, and there it is standing before you.  We'll get some pics up of it for you all to check out.

The park and property is absolutely beautiful.  The opening ceremony was so cool, looking around at all the Hall of Famers, World Champions, and seeing this incredible buidling, you couldn't help but get chills, and think about how far this sport has come.  I had a great practice round with Brinster, Climo and Greenwell.  I was throwing really well, considering that i have not been practicing.  So i was thinking, just throw like this and you'll be fine.  Well, my rounds we're pretty up and down.  I kept landing just next to trees, ,making the run up hard and only being able to throw a set up shot.  So i added on unneccessary strokes quite often.  But my timing and pull threw the zone felt good, so i just played the best I could and got some NT points and had a bunch of fun.
